And it squeezes every ounce of performance out of them, thanks to its Dynabook-engineered dual-fan cooling system that stays quiet even under load. All this capability doesn't compromise battery life, either - its 60Wh battery delivers up to 8 hours' use on a charge*, and recharges to 40% capacity in just 30 minutes.

Designed in Dynabook’s Innovation Centre R&D hub and underpinned by over 35 years of notebook expertise, the A40 is ready to keep your workforce moving. Its lightweight chassis has been vetted against the latest MIL STD 810-H standards, which include rigorous drop, temperature, humidity, vibration and shock tests. And its keyboard is not only spill-proof* but has been lowered to protect the screen, further reducing the likelihood of accidental damage.

Fully-loaded connectivity

The Tecra A40's extensive connections let users make anywhere their office. Two ultra-fast Thunderbolt 4-enabled USB-C ports support simple docking by providing charge, data transfer and screen sharing for up to four monitors. Further accessories, docks and displays can be hooked up with ease and speed via other full-size ports including HDMI 2.0, LAN and additional USB-A 3.2 ports. For fast and reliable wireless connections, the device boasts the latest Intel® AX211 2x2 Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 module, decreasing Wi-Fi interference with an added 6 GHz band.
